- JEDDAH: King Fahad Specialist Hospital, Dammam, (KFSH-D) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) as part of its efforts to widen its links with top academic institutions.
The deal is expected to improve partnership between both institutions, especially in medical physics and to develop training and research strategies between both institutions.
KFSH-D Chief Executive Officer Dr Khalid M. Al Shaibani and KFUPM Rector and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Khalid Al-Sultan, signed the MoU.
“We are keen to establish a very effective partnership and joint collaboration between our hospital and the outstanding academic and research institutions as part of our commitment to provide a world-class medical services,” said Dr. Khalid A. Al Shaibani, CEO of KFSH-D.
“These partnerships aims to develop sustainable health policies that can improve the outcomes of the services we provide at KFSH-D,” added Dr. Al Shaibani.
KFSH-D has signed several MoUs in the past three years with a number of key health, academic and research institutions.
