- DHAKA, Bangladesh: Australia is set to sweep Bangladesh in their limited-overs series after smashing 361-8 in the third and final match at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on Wednesday.
Bangladesh is forced to produce a record total to try to avoid a whitewash. It has surpassed 300 only four times, and its highest chasing score is 313-6 against Zimbabwe in 2009.
Michael Hussey scored 108 for his third one-day international century, taking advantage of another flying start provided by Shane Watson (72 off 57 balls) and Ricky Ponting (47), who were hitting 10 runs an over in the first 11.
They were well supported by captain Michael Clarke (47) and Mitchell Johnson (41), while John Hastings offered a 14-ball cameo at the end for 21 not out.
