Saudi experts will outline their contributions in the energy sector in the conference that carries the logo "energy solutions for all - promoting cooperation, innovation and investment."

Eight papers on issues concerning oil will be presented by them, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Friday.

Saudi Aramco and the Industrialization and Energy Services Company (TAQA) will participate in an exhibition held in the sidelines of the conference. The two companies will review the most significant achievements, works and advanced technologies used in the Saudi oil industry.

The World Petroleum Council was founded in 1933. Its conference is one of the largest international conferences on oil. The council has more than 60 countries as official members representing more than 95 percent of the total producing and consuming countries of oil in the world. The Kingdom has been participating actively in the conference since 1971.

The number of participants in the conference in 2011 is expected to be more than 500 experts in the energy sector.
