The Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) ended the day in the green at 7,782.85 points, up 24.19 points or 0.31 percent, from its previous day close at 7,758.66 points. It has extended 21.27 percent gain on YTD basis.

Hotel & Tourism sector advanced 4.54 percent over the day, posting the biggest gains among all sectors, followed by Banks & Financial Services which added 215.9 points further.

Multi-Investment and Media and Publishing sectors, on the other hand, recorded the biggest losses, down by 1.6 percent.

Heavy weights closed the day mixed, with SABB surging by 2.58 percent and Al-Rajhi Bank by 2.19 percent. However, Kingdom Holding Co. slipped 1.56 percent to close the day at SR12.65.

Investor participation remained healthy as more than 0.6 billion shares exchanged hands on the Saudi Stock Market. Total equity turnover stood at SR14.8 billion compared to SR16.6 billion in previous day.

Heavy interest was witnessed in the Saudi Integrated Telecom (ALMUTAKAMELA) and ZAIN KSA which topped the value and volume charts at Tadawul.

A turnover of more than SR2.1 billion was provided by ALMUTAKAMELA, while, Zain recorded a volume of 67.3 million shares.

Surprisingly, all the most active stocks went down except SABIC (Saudi Basic Industries Corp.) which signaled green and was up 0.23 percent for the day.

The market breadth was slightly negative with 86 stocks witnessing declines against 53 stocks witnessing advances.

Enaya Insurance and Atheeb Telecom among all Saudi stocks turned in a splendid performance, soared up 9.7 percent for the second straight day.

On the other hand, ALMUTAKAMELA performed worst for the fourth consecutive trading day, down 7.0 percent. It sank nearly 37 percent in four days.
