Representative Keith Ellison of the Fifth Congressional District in Minnesota will accompany the delegation, which will meet with government and business leaders in Riyadh and Dammam from April 1-4.

Ellison is recognized as a progressive and rising national leader. He is also the first Muslim member of the US Congress. This will be the fourth mission that the USSABC has joined with Representative Ellison and Minnesota firms to explore the Saudi market.

“It is always a pleasure for me to return to Saudi Arabia with Minnesota companies to continue to build the bonds of friendship and business that benefit both the Kingdom and our state,” said Ellison on his upcoming visit.

The 10 companies in the delegation represent a variety of industry sectors including water treatment, health care, food and dairy, luxury housewares, defense, and HVAC among others. The delegates will meet individually with potential Saudi partners through meetings that have been pre-arranged by the USSABC in cooperation with the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Asharqia Chamber.

“They are also available for other meetings upon request,” said an official at the US Embassy in Riyadh.
