Shokola6a is Arabic for Chocolate, and the idea of the specialist company was born after a group of best friends,  a clever engineer, a slick marketeer and a very creative design manager, decided to start their own business using their mutual passion for chocolate, The result, “Qoot Wa Zad” is a 100 percent local brand and ownership established by a young Saudi company to fulfill chocolate lovers' need for delicious melted chocolate.

“Chocolate is an instant treat that can turn any frown upside down,” said Abdulrahman Al Turjuman, director of Business Development & Marketing at Shokol6a. “Shokola6a promises you to put a smile on your face the minute you read the name or see our chocolate cascading in our fountain. You know for sure that this will remind you of your favorite childhood memory,” he said. “We combined our love of chocolate, snacks and coffee into a business idea that's simple and fun and that’s how our chocolate brand was born,” he added.

Shokola6a’s menu varies from tasty chocolaty deserts to exotic chocolate-rich drinks. The Volcano, a mixture of chocolate cake, rice crispy, milk chocolate and a shot of espresso, is their signature treat.

Another smart choice is the Black and White, which contains pieces of chocolate cake, strawberries and white chocolate layered in the proud (large) cup.  The Souffle is chocolate cake, rice crispies and any kind of chocolate from the chocolate fountain. 

The best part of Shokola6a is the chocolate fountain, which makes an irresistible dip for different kinds of delicious fruit, cake, marshmallow, cereal and cookies.

Once you have got over the mental torment of deciding between health and chocolate, relax and indulge yourself in a  guilt-free treat; Shokola6a has created the “Healthy Mix”, which is a fruit, and bite-sized cereals dipped in sugar-free diet chocolate.  Shokola6a offers something for everyone. For those who love chocolate but are on a strict diet, they offer sugar-free chocolate that can be added to fresh fruit, diet cereal or even to eat on its own. My personal favorite is the peppermint hot chocolate and the strawberry white chocolate. The clean tang from the peppermint counters yet balances the weight of the chocolate and makes you feel fresh and satisfied. And what would one do without strawberries?  Combined with white chocolate they are not only romantic but mind-numbingly delicious as well.  Shokola6a uses a special organic hot chocolate for their fountain and its unique flavor sets up your mood. They also use the premier Italian coffee brand in most of their drinks and some of their desserts.  And just when you thought it was safe to go shopping elsewhere to avoid temptation, Shokola6a is opening soon next to Al Danube in Khaldiya.
