Prince Salman exhibition attracts massive crowds

The exhibition “Salman bin Abdul Aziz … Pioneering in Urban Heritage” has been receiving large crowds since its launch by Crown Prince Salman two weeks ago.
Diplomats of foreign missions to the Kingdom, delegations from abroad, students, citizens, and expatriates have visited the one-month exhibition that includes a gallery of photographs on the crown prince’s achievements in national urban heritage.
Photographs at the show that depict the crown prince’s contributions to national heritage throughout five decades, showing different stages in the history of the country, have been garnering much visitor attention.
In addition to 40 rare photographs describing the history of urban heritage in the Kingdom, the exhibition contains small models of modern development projects that show the architectural development in the Kingdom, particularly in Riyadh, and how the country has maintained Islamic architecture that represents the identity and civilization of the Islamic Ummah throughout different stages of history.
The exhibition is being held at the King Abdulaziz Historical Center in Riyadh. It is organized by the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA) in cooperation with King Abdul Aziz Darat, the High Commission for the Development of Riyadh, Al-Turath Foundation, and King Fahd National Library.
