The school principal, Nasreen Syed, said this was the third time the school was releasing its annual publication successfully. “This is the most awaited event of the year following the announcement of the CBSE examination results this year,” the principal said.
The colorful publication, which carries articles from the school students, contains 270 pages.
The magazine was officially released by Chairman of the school’s board of management Mohammed Ajaz Akhtar at a glittering function held at the school premises.
During his speech, Akhtar also pledged to bear the educational expenses of a deserving woman student who performed well at the last grade 10 examinations.
The other members of the board of management, Vice Chairman Shaikh Ahmed Wasay, Mohammed Basheer, Mohd Kamran Khan, Fakharudheen and Mohd Naseem Khawaja, were also present.
The school has some 1,800 students on roll with equal representation of girls and boys. During the last examinations, a total of 44 students who sat for the CBSE came out with flying colors. Of the successful students, six students obtained excellent marks in all their subjects.
