Mazola, one of the pioneers of healthy and quality food products across the Gulf, held a dinner reception for its partners and distributors at the Palace Hotel in Dubai.

The reception coincided with the companies’ participation at Gulfood 2016, claimed to be the world’s largest annual food and hospitality show in Dubai held from Feb. 21-25.

The dinner is part of Mazola’s annual feature during Gulfood, which brings all of its leading distributors across geographies on a common platform and hosted by Abdullah Saeed Binzagr, chairman of Basateen Foods Saudi Arabia, the trademark owner of the Mazola brand for the MENA, who also handed over various awards to Mazola distributors.

Binzagr said: “Mazola has a strategic expansion plan in place, which reflects the company’s commitment to increase volumes through Mazola’s growing brand share, new product development and geographic expansion into new markets. This will help the company achieve even better business results and further enhance its share and position.”

Simon Gottfried, VP sales and marketing, MENA of Basateen Foods Saudi Arabia also encapsulated the company’s growth plans in 2016.

“Mazola is stated to have a strategic expansion plan in place which reflects the company’s commitment to increase volumes through Mazola’s growing brand share, new product development and geographic expansion into new markets. The company is on a threshold of an aggressive growth, and an even exciting period ahead,” Gottfried added.

Hatun Madani, brand ambassador for Mazola and one of the chief guests at the dinner, said: “The success of Mazola products are primarily due to the world-class quality that it maintains across its entire portfolio.”
