Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) has won the Best Managed Information Security Service Provider Award for 2016 on the sidelines of the GIL Conference for growth, innovation and leadership in the Middle East, which took place in Alkhobar recently.

The conference classifies information security services as one of the most important challenges facing the Saudi and other Middle East business sectors.

The conference stressed an urgent need for business continuity in many sectors requiring high-level information security services in order to ensure optimal information security management for the company.

Ismail Al-Ghamdi, chief business officer, Mobily, said: “We are honored to receive this award from GIL Middle East Conference, confirming Mobily's leadership in the field of information security services. GIL conference also touched upon important topics and innovations related to multiple sections in telecommunications and information technology industries such as the Internet of Things, communications and information technology services that support the health sector and current trends of the sector.

Mobily has introduced information security services in the Kingdom, based upon the “highest international standards.” The company has developed valuable international partnerships to facilitate provision of optimal services. This includes partnerships with organizations such as Zscaler, Arbor and IBM, among others.
