Seasons Daycare, established with the support of Prince Sultan Fund for Women Development, opened its operations on Jan. 19, in the presence of Hana Al-Zuhair, deputy secretary general of the fund.

The project, an example of Saudi women’s success stories, aims at easing the daily suffering of working mothers who are in a state of extreme anxiety when they leave their children with maids at home.

Faten Al-Otaibi, owner of the nursery's, said: "We aim at providing the psychological comfort for working mothers to be able to contribute effectively to the society development and perform their roles in its progress."

Al-Otaibi praised the outstanding educational and recreational service provided to children, confirming that the nursery's educational curriculum covers all aspects of education and learning.

The nursery, located on the Alkhobar Corniche, is close to the headquarters of a number of companies and institutions, which make it easy for many working mothers to leave their children here and and take them back, Al-Otaibi said.

Meanwhile, the fund's deputy secretary general said: "The Eastern Province nurseries, which are staffed by Saudi female supervisors, teachers and babysitters are distinguished with professionalism and efficiency in dealing with children and babies."

Some working mothers in the Eastern Province expressed their pleasure over the opening of the nursery, and praised the high and professional care provided by its staff.

Eman Al-Ghamdi said: "I have observed a lot of change in the behavior of my daughter after joining it. She is now able to arrange her things and toys by herself."

Taibah Al-Badran, daycare's director, said: "Seasons Daycare is keen to apply the best international standards followed for safe and healthy children upbringing in recreational and motivational learning environment."
