Haji & Mu'tamir's Gift, a Makkah-based charitable organization, continues to play a significant role in enhancing the welfare and well-being of pilgrims who come for Haj and Umrah by extending a variety of educational, health, guidance, catering and support services.
"We welcome pilgrims on arrival in Makkah, provide them religious education, answer their questions related to Haj rituals, provide health services and meals, distribute gifts and meet their specific needs," said Sheikh Mansour Al-Aamir, its director general.
"We want to provide qualitative and distinctive services to the guests of God, seeking reward from the Almighty, in order to uphold the image of Islam and highlight the spirit of Islamic solidarity and brotherhood," Al-Aamir said.
Sheikh Ahmed Al-Mazroue, an Appeal Court judge and a board member, said he was happy to learn that the organization has extended services to 3 million pilgrims last year. “It was the result of good organization and hard work."
Haji & Mu'tamir's Gift recently organized an entertainment and award distribution ceremony, including sports events and cultural contests, for its workers and volunteers in the holy city recently.
Dr. Yousuf bin Abdullah Al-Bahouth of Umm Al-Qura University commended the organization's services to the guests of God and said its workers and volunteers would receive good reward from God for their noble work. A member of Haji Gift's board of directors, Al-Bahouth said such entertainment programs would have a big impact on strengthening the team spirit of its workers.
Sheikh Al-Aamir thanked KRW volunteers who cooperated with his organization for their services to pilgrims during the last Haj season. "You are a model for productive Muslims who offer their time and capabilities for the benefit of the guests of God," he said. Abdulqader Amanah, public relations manager, said a number of companies and institutions that cooperate with the organization were honored during the event. Senior government officials as well as business leaders attended the function.
