Ericsson recently participated in the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology’s (KAUST) Career Fair, in an effort to provide graduate students with insights into today’s business needs and
encourage them to be the future leaders of the competitive telecom industry.
In an effort to further its engagement with future industry leaders, Ericsson provided graduate students with an overview of the current ICT market while discussing potential employment opportunities. During the event, Ericsson executives were also able to provide graduate students with quality counseling on professional development.
“The event provides a great platform for graduate students to interact with future employers and explore professional experience opportunities,” said Ali Eid, president of Ericsson, Saudi Arabia. “At
Ericsson, we believe that today’s youth and local Saudi talent are the future leaders of the ICT world and we are committed to leverage every opportunity that will allow us to continuously engage with them. We would also like to thank KAUST for holding such a great event and providing us with a chance to try and position ourselves as the future employer of choice for local talent in the Kingdom.”
The career fair attracted more than 200 graduate students from various science and technology majors and provided a professional platform where they could be in direct contact with future employers while exploring recruitment and training opportunities. The event was held
at the KAUST campus in Thuwal and was organized by KAUST’s Graduate Services Department.
