JEDDAH: The Kingdom is proud of its sons who were martyred during a terrorist attack while on duty in Asir, the Council of Ministers said on Monday.

The ministers highlighted a speech delivered by VIce Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Mohammed bin Naif, interior minister, honoring the members of the Special Emergency Force in Asir Region who lost their lives during the attack, said Adel Al-Toraifi, Cabinet spokesman and minister of culture and information.
The ministers, who held their regular weekly session at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah on Monday under the chairmanship of Prince Mohammed, said the men were on duty protecting the country from deviant groups.
They also discussed developments in Yemen and reiterated that the situation has to be resolved under the conditions outlined in the Security Council Resolution 2216.
