A business resilience conference, organized by Etihad Etisalat (Mobily), in cooperation with IBM was held in Riyadh.
Senior officials from Mobily and IBM attended the event
Marwan Al-Ahmadi, Mobily’s CBO, and key public and private sector officials in the Kingdom were also present.
The forum analyzed ways and means of stepping up business development with support from the latest technological tools, providing flexibility and reliability in managing risks.
Al-Ahmadi highlighted the Kingdom's telecom sector growth, thanks to higher government spending announced in the budget of 2013.
Mobily keeps pace with this unprecedented growth in business sector, he pointed out.
“Our cooperation with IBM creates new horizons to come up with distinctive solutions for business sector. This strategic partnership between Mobily and IBM will result in providing excellent services and solutions to support business resilience and efficiency,” said Al-Ahmadi.
The conference analyzed several solutions that reflect the success of this partnership. It was noted that Mobily is armed with advanced and reliable infrastructure, backed by IBM’s advanced technologies.
Mobily and IBM signed a five-year partnership agreement last August allowing Mobily to provide innovative solutions of information technology to the business sector, in addition to cloud computing, to meet market requirements in the Kingdom.
