The International Indian School in Dammam (IISD) recently organized a one-day camp that included a camping trip to Alkhobar Corniche and outdoor games.
The Upper Primary Boys Section (UPBS) students cleaned parts of the Corniche as their contribution to the cleanliness drive.
Scout Master Chachanta demonstrated the basics of first aid and also trained the boys in putting up a tent. Scout teachers Shakila J. Premarajan and Rabia Nikhat coordinated the day’s activities under the guidance of UPBS Headmaster Mohammed Ismail.
The inaugural session was held in the Boys’ Section grounds, which was attended by Principal E.K. Mohammed Shaffe, Lt. Col. J. Rocque, Alamgir Islam and other section heads.
The Scouts flag was raised by the principal. While addressing the young students, the principal outlined the various programs conducted under the sponsorship of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah for promoting Scouts Organization in the Kingdom.
