Jotun Paints got off to a flying start in Division-I Twenty20 League for the Jotun Cup when they scored a comfortable 6-wicket win over Kabbani recently.
In the Yanbu Al-Sanaiyah Cricket Association (YACA) organized tournament, the Paintmen owe their win to Liaqat who scored an unbeaten 50.
Earlier, Kabbani were all out for 110. Ejaz top-scored with 49 runs. Tanveer took 4 for 13 while Irfan got 3 for 27. In reply, Jotun put on board 111 off 15.2 overs. Besides, Liaqat, Irfan contributed 27 runs. Khalid bagged 2 for 24 for the bowling side.
Man-of-the-Match: Liaqat.
In the only Division-I 40 over match, Indo Riders got the better of Saudi Ossan by 31 runs. Indo Riders were all out for 147 off 27 overs. Thayoob was the highest scorer with 47 runs. Tayyab impressed with ball and took 5 for 19. Inamul Haque supported him with 3 for 27.
In reply, Saudi Ossan managed 116 runs. Hamid Khan staged a lone battle and got 23 runs. Sajimon caused most of the damage as he ripped through the rival batting line-up and had figures 5 for 14. Abid Hassan supported him with 2 for 13.
Man-of-the-Match: Sajimon.
In another match, GT Warriors got the better of Natpet by 6 wickets. Warriors scored 162 from their allotted overs.
Shihab and Anwar scored 57 and 55 respectively. Yaseen 2 for for 31 runs. Yaseen (54), Pranab (26) and Nadeem (24) were the other main run getters.
Man-of-the-Match: Shihab.
Almuzain beat Royal Commission by 130 runs. Almuzain put on 188 in its quota of 20 overs.
Qaiser hit the first century of the tournament. Fahad was the other main scorer with 35. Royal Commission were bundled out for 58 runs.
Fahad took 4 for 5 runs, while Qaiser had 3 for 14 runs.

In another match, Punjab XI scored 109 runs. Rizwan scored an unbeaten 37 while Suhail contributed 32 runs.
Siyam and Shiyab took two wickets each.
GT Warriors reached their target off 12 overs with Shiyam (34) and Anwar (29) being the main contributors.
Man-of-the Match: Shiyam.
Elsewhere, Natpet beat Worley Parson by 2 runs. Yaseen (40 not out) and Shareef (25) were the main contributors. Mukesh (26) and Moghis (25) did their best for Worley Parson. Aamir took 2 for 20.
Man-of-the Match: Yaseen Pak Crescent ‘B’ got the better of Yanbu Youth by 30 runs. Pak Crescent scored 168 runs. Mohsin top-scored with 67 runs. Salman took 3 wickets, while Mudassir and Rouf bagged 2wickets each. Salman’s unbeaten 87 runs were not enough for the Yanbu as they managed 138.
