ALBAHA: Mohammed bin Ali Hanas Al-Zahrani, probably one of the oldest men in the world, passed away at the age of 120 in Al-Baha province.
The Saudi man was from Al-Darin in Bidan and was known in his village by the name of Idris. Before the unification of Saudi Arabia, Idris visited a number of countries in Europe, such as Germany, Britain and France.
He learned to speak their languages and lived there for many years. He also resided in Ethiopia.
Jiroemon Kimura of Japan is the world’s oldest person and the longest living man on record. He celebrated his 116th birthday on Friday.
