Saudi XI got the better of Cristal XI by 3 wickets in the Division-I 40-over cricket league match for the Jotun Cup, organized by the Yanbu Al-Sanaiyah Cricket Association (YACA), recently. Saudi XI restricted Cristal to 186 runs in 31.1 overs. Yassir top-scored with 47 runs and was well-supported by Frasat who got 37. Nadeem Saad Nadwi took 4 for 38 while Ali Rashid Cheema 3 for 26. In reply Saudi XI scored the required runs in 35.3 overs for the loss of 7 wickets. Junaid scored 26 runs while Khurram was unbeaten on 45. Fazal took 2 for 30.
Man-of-the-Match: Nadeem Saad Nadwi
In another match of the same division, Kabbani were all out for 253 runs in 36.4 overs against Saudi Ossan. Ehsan was the highest scorer with 83 runs while Mudassir got 63. Akbar and Ravi Kishore took 3 wickets each for 50 and 47 runs respectively. Saudi Ossan were all out for 111 runs in 29.5 overs. Zahid scored 67 runs. Khalid took 3 wickets for 25 runs. Kabbani XI won by 142 runs.
Man-of-the-Match: Ehsan
In the Division-I 20-over match, Saudi-XI edged past Jotun Paints by 10 runs. Saudi XI won the toss and put up 118 for 7 in the allotted overs. Abbas (34) and Arsalan (38) were the main scorers. Akbar took 2 for 21 runs. In reply Jotun Paints could score only 108 for 9. Akbar scored 32 runs while Captain Nasrullah Bhatti remained not out on 25 runs. Sajjad took 3 for 22 while Dr. Aamir got 2 for 17.

In another match of the same division, Indo Ryders defeated Shah XI by 16 runs. Indo Riders scored 135 runs. Samiullah (49) and Faizal (47) were the main scorers. Sami and Moharram took 3 wickets each for 23 and 17 runs respectively. In reply Shah XI scored 119 for 7 wickets. Thayoob 3 for 19 runs and Faizal 2 for 18 runs did most of the damage.

In a Division-II match, PCB XI bundled out Worley Parson for 45 and won by 10 wickets. Only Mukesh (16) and Aji (10) reached the double figures for Worley Parson Sagheer took 5 wickets for 17 while Mazhar had 3 for 8 runs. Mohsin (31) and Tanveer (11) scored the required runs in 4.2 overs.
