The newly elected board of Zamil Industrial Investment Company (Zamil Industrial) board has elected Khalid A. Al-Zamil as its chairman, according to Tadawul website. The board also has appointed members of the executive, audit, and nomination and remuneration committees.
The new chairman was elected during the company's Ordinary General Assembly. The new board held its first meeting in its sixth term yesterday. It will hold office until April 30, 2016.
Al-Zamil chaired and was a member of several government and private sector boards.
He chaired the Council of Saudi Chambers, and the Asharqia Chamber. He was board member of the Supreme Economic Councils Advisory Board, the Saudi Standards Organization, the Saudi Industrial Property Authority (Modon), and the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, among many others.
