Crown Prince Salman bin Abdul-Aziz arrives in Turkey

Ankara: Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, arrived in Ankara today at the start of an official visit to the Republic of Turkey.
The Crown Prince was received at Ankara Airport by Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bakir Bozdaq, Vice Governor of Ankara Mohammed Ali Olthath, Saudi Ambassador to the Republic of Turkey Dr. Adel Siraj Mirdad; a number of officials and ambassadors of Arab and Islamic countries accredited to the Republic of Turkey.
Crown Prince Salman asserted that his visit to Turkey comes as a continuation of the approach of contacts and the common desire to develop and enhance the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and consult on issues of common concern.
In a statement upon his arrival in Ankara today, the Crown Prince said, “I am pleased to express my deep pleasure to visit the Republic of Turkey and to convey the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to Turkish President Abdullah Gul, and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and his best wishes of further progress and prosperity for the brotherly Turkish people .
The King’s two historical visits to the Republic of Turkey in 1427 AH and 1428 AH had the greatest impact on achieving a distinguished leap in all areas and at various levels in Saudi-Turkish relations.
This visit comes as a continuation of the approach of contacts and the common desire to develop and enhance the bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and consult on issues of common concern.
I would like to express my thanks for the warm reception accorded to me and the accompanying delegation which reflects the depth of ties and relations between our two countries based on brotherhood and common historical and cultural bonds, praying to Allah Almighty to help us all for the benefit of our peoples of the two countries and the Islamic nation.”
