Bin Delamah Adpco triumphs in Al-Turki League

Bin Delamah Adpco Cricket Club clinched the EPCA First Division Al-Turki Cricket League Championship when they thrashed favorites Khobar Badshah Cricket Club by eight wickets in an exciting final, organized by the Eastern Province Cricket Association in Dammam.
Khobar Badshah, after they won the toss and elected to bat, had early setbacks when they lost opener Haider for 3 and Asif Ashraf 30. However, a magnificent knock of 50 by Ali Iftikhar and a fine 40 by Khalid Maqsood Khan boosted Khobar Badshah’s total to 227 for 9 off 40 overs.
Bharat Choughle bowled well and claimed 3 for 50. Mohd Irfan supported him with 2 for 45. Mohd Tanveer and Sadiq Rafiq took a wicket each.
In reply, Bin Delamah Adpco reached their target off only 34 overs for the loss of 2 wickets. Thanks to Saeed Iqbal’s superb knock of 92. He was supported Mohd Tanveer’s fine 65. Mohd Sajeed gave the finishing touches to steer Bin Delamah Adpco to victory with an unbeaten 32.
