Saudi Telecom Co. (STC) hosted Career Day activities as part of the sixth graduation ceremony of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah’s program for 800 Saudi students studying in the US.
The STC stand received Adel Al-Jubair, ambassador of Saudi Arabia in Washington, and Higher Education Minister Khaled Al-Anqari in the exhibition held at Gaylord National Harbor Hotel Hall in Washington DC this week.
“This is a step toward integration and giving the new graduates a chance in support of ensuring their future jobs,” the STC stated.
The presence of STC at the exhibition coinciding with the graduation ceremony of the Saudi students studying in the United States under King Abdullah’s scholarship program is a reflection of its keenness to consolidate its ambitious localization plan and serve the Saudi society and thus contribute to the ongoing sustained national development, the STC added.
The STC’s activities were organized by the Saudi Cultural Mission in Washington in conjunction with government departments and a number of Saudi public and private sector organizations on the Career Day.
STC, a major organization in localization, has achieved the highest Saudization rate of more than 91 percent.
