Saudi Aramco has granted a two-year contract extension to WorelyParsons, an Australian services company, for maintaining and managing its ongoing and potential program.
The contract covers a portfolio of offshore green and brownfield projects and includes a full suite of engineering and project management services.
WorelyParsons has held the contract for the past 11 years and Wednesday’s announcement marks the fourth extension of the deal.
So far under the contract, the company has carried out the project management, engineering, design, fabrication and installation supervision of more than 45 platforms, upgraded 100 existing platforms, and installed over 180 km subsea pipelines and submarine cables, the company stated.
It added that it had also carried out the hook-up of over 300 wells under the contract with Saudi Aramco.
