An autopsy will be conducted on the body of Mohammed, the 4 -year-old boy who died recently from apparent blows to the head, abdomen and testicles.
Mohammed’s mother, sister and uncle were also investigated following the new turn of events when the sister was accused of killing her brother after a fight between the two.
Security forces became suspicious when they saw the father’s haste in burial procedures and subsequently recommended filing the case to the Asir Governorate.
Prince Faisal bin Khalid ordered the case be opened again for further investigation and the body to be sent for an autopsy. After accusing her husband of the murder, the boy’s mother and her brothers sought protection.
Spokesman of the Asir Governorate Awad Al-Said earlier said that they had received a report from inside the house stating that a boy had died.
