Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, celebrated carrying its five millionth passenger from Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The lucky passenger, Fatima Rashid AlMeheni, was presented with two complimentary tickets in celebration of this significant milestone.
Handing over the tickets to AlMeheni, Adel Al-Tamimi, Gulf Air’s Commercial Manager in Riyadh commented, “It’s great to be celebrating our five millionth passenger milestone in Riyadh. Gulf Air’s relationship with the Saudi capital dates back to 1982 when Gulf Air was the first international airline to land in Riyadh. Since we began services 63 years ago we have flown more than fifteen million passengers to and from the Kingdom.”
“Saudi Arabia has always been, and will continue to be, an important market for Gulf Air and we would like to thank our Saudi customers for their continuous support of our airline. We are looking forward to the next five million,” he concluded.
