It is quite amazing and amusing to know that a Jew was killed by an Israeli guard at the Western Wall in Jerusalem for pronouncing Allah-o-Akbar. The guard’s excuse was that he thought him to be an Arab militant. During our childhood, we heard the chant of Allah-o-Akbar while slaughtering an animal but now we hear the same sacred sentence being used while killing innocent people indiscriminately in the name of Islam.
However, we believe that the Israeli guard wouldn’t have killed the Jewish man unless he suspected him to be a Palestinian. We guess that the Israeli soldiers must be following the Syrian war very closely on radio and television, where every gun shot from whichever side it is fired accompanies with the chant of Allah-o-Akbar. - S.H.
