The election for the management committee of International Indian School-Riyadh (IISR) will be held on Sept. 14.
IISR announced the schedule and eligibility criteria for candidates and voters for the election two days ago.
“Election to the school managing committee will be held on Sept. 14 this year at the Boys School campus,” said IISR Principal Dr. S.M. Shaukat Perwez.
According to the circular issued here, the parents who have cleared first quarter fees will be included among eligible voters and candidates and those, who wish to contest the elections can collect nomination papers from the principal’s office till July 3, between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.
The submission of filled-up nomination papers will begin on Sept. 1 and continue till Sept. 8, whereas the last date for withdrawal of candidacy is Sept. 10, the circular said, adding the final list of candidates will be displayed on the school website and notice board on Sept. 11.
The polling will begin on Sept. 14 at 9 a.m. and will continue till 6 p.m. with a break of an hour at noon.
The counting of votes will be done on the same day.
The circular added that no more than two members would be taken from one state.
