Casio G-Shock shines at Jeddah launch

Mahmood Saleh Abbar Co., the authorized representative of Casio products in Saudi Arabia, with the collaboration of Virgin Megastore, organized an event for Casio G-Shock watches at Roshana Mall in Jeddah.
The latest Casio G-Shock products were on display at the event, which was marked by the launch of Casio G-Shock Bluetooth watches.
Ayman Tawfiq Kamel, manager of business development and assistant manager at Abbar Co., said Casio G-Shock watches had taken a giant leap in the Saudi market due to the highest technology employed by the watchmaker.
He said the G-Shock watch could be compared to iPhone 5 or iPhone 4S.
The G-Shock watch has all the features that are found in the competing devices and much more, he said.
A painting competition was also held, with the names of winners to be announced during Eid Al-Fitr celebrations, under the supervision and cooperation of the Saudi Association of Culture and Arts.
A cultural program was among other highlights of the event.
