Riyadh: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Premier and Chairman of the Council of Higher Education, has approved a number of decisions taken by the Council in its 73rd session.
The Minister of Higher Education and Deputy Chairman of the Council, Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Anqari, pointed out that one of the most important decisions is the establishment of five departments at the Higher Institute of Magistracy at Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University including departments of magistracy of trade, criminal justice, civil status, labor and Administrative Justice.
He said that the decisions included the establishment and restructuring of departments and faculties, the establishment of research centers and institutes, Memorandums of Understanding between Saudi and international universities, extension of services and transfer of academician staff, and annual reports of the universities.
Dr. Al-Anqari expressed his thanks to and appreciation of the King for supporting educational institutions.
