VaVaVoom’s recycling campaign big success

VaVaVoom’s ‘Look good and feel great’ recycling campaign launched in July has been a great success with VaVaVoom’s customers who were encouraged to recycle their used cosmetics packaging in exchange for a 10 percent off voucher per item and help the environment.
VaVaVoom has collected 1,309 fragrance bottles, 584 mascaras, and 452 lipsticks. It hopes to collect many more cosmetic packaging items before this recycling initiative ends on August 31.
“The results are outstanding so far and we’re pleased to see that our customers are motivated by the ‘Look good and feel great’ recycling initiative,’ says Daniel Ritchie, VP for the VaVaVoom brand.
In addition, VaVaVoom witnessed a positive reaction on social media networks, receiving many enquiries, comments and compliments from followers about the initiative.
One Facebook fan stated: “It is very delightful news to see a company concerned with the environment by collecting used products for recycling purposes. The news of this campaign as I said is very delightful. My respects and appreciation goes out to VaVaVoom.”
Other environmentally conscious customers wishing to support the recycling campaign can bring their used fragrance bottles, lipsticks and mascaras and receive a 10 percent off voucher from VaVaVoom at any of their Saudi stores until Aug. 31.
“We hope that our recycling initiative will help educate and inform customers about the difference recycling can make to the environment,” Ritchie added.
