FAEC Seniors bounced back from its opening game loss by beating erstwhile leader NPC Pipers, 78-74, last Friday in the Kingdom Dream Games Part 2 organized by the Filipino Arabian Basketball Association (FABA).
The win created a triple-tie among FAEC, NPC, and the Paparotti Riyadh with identical 1-1 win-loss card in the Premier League. A fouth team, ARCC-EEI, has not yet played a single game in this division.
While the Seniors jubilate with their feat, Bangus Restoran, however, demolished FAEC Juniors, 86-68, in the Open League division. Bangus is in second place with a 1-1 slate trailing the ACEC with 1-0 win-loss card
Saudi Readymix clinched the solo lead in the Intercompany A on 2-0 when it trounced Flour Arabia, 84-71.
Al Jazira Raptors defeated the Shade five, 65-59, to keep their top position in the Intercompany B and shared the lead in this group with the Wild Cats, both having two wins and no loses. Hempel Paints were too much for the Fugro squad when the former demolished the latter, 81-57. Hempel now climbed to second spot alongside Barangay RHM, both with 1-1 card.
In the non-rated division, Manifa beat United Bicolanos, 90-80; Khobar Warriors thrashed Quiapo, 96-70; and Bisdak hammered the Jakals, 92-77.
Friday, ARCC-EEI plays its first game against the visiting Paparotti Riyadh. In the curtain raiser, Pipstrit will face Mustang HDP while Wild Cats take on Juton Paints. Other exciting games of the day are Issam Kabani vs. ACEC, Bagus Restoran vs. Quiapo, Surigaonon vs. FAEC Jr., Nesma vs Daggers, and Dammam Warriors vs. Gulf Power Marine.
