A senior BlackBerry official predicts that his company and its products will have an incredible future in the Kingdom by way of its quality and services.
Khaled Kefel, country manager for BlackBerry, was speaking at a press conference to announce the launch of BlackBerry’s new smart phone in Riyadh on Monday.
“Currently, we are enjoying a 15.7 percent market share among the smartphones in the Kingdom,” Kefel said, hoping that this would improve from quality products marketed by the BB. “We are catering to all segments of the Saudi market and we are gaining goodwill and confidence from the Saudi consumers.”
Describing it as BlackBerry’s biggest, fastest and most advanced smart phone, Kefel said the BlackBerry Z30 is now available for purchase across Saudi Arabia at electronics retail stores.
The new smart phone was unveiled at an exclusive event in Riyadh on Monday night, where media got a chance to have a hands-on experience with the device.
Featuring BlackBerry’s 10 OS version 10.2, the new all-touch BlackBerry Z30 smart phone comes with a beautiful 5” display and the largest battery yet on a BlackBerry smartphone.” It is designed to keep the user hyper connected, productive and always in control, and let you share like you’re there and collaborate with ease,” he added.
The other key features includes BlackBerry priority hub, which is one place to manage all your conversations and notifications. The new BlackBerry Priority Hub can now learn what conversations and what people are important to you making it fast and easy to find the messages and information you need.
