Fernie Ballano, one of the bankable players of Saco bowling team, and NBA splashed devastating forms to capture the Best Bowler and Best Team of the Week awards during the 19th week in the Al Rabie-IBG Friday Bowling League at the Universal Bowling Center (UBC) here.

Saco might have lost at the hands of the Angel Vipers 15-22 but still found reason to celebrate when Ballano emerged as the top individual performer after shooting the high series series scratch of 906 on lines of 234, 213, 208 and 191. George Sto. Domingo together with Joel Batolina impressed in Saco quintet by posting separate series of 810 and 802. Likewise, the prolific Stephen Ajera had 775 points while Jun Sebastian and the never-fading Buddy Balisi submitted 377 and 340.
Angel Vipers got a lift from Shawn Rickett, James Boyd, Angel Caasi, Koko Torres and Edgar Badeo. Rickett led Vipers by knocking down a series of 874 while next to Rickett was Boyd 834 and the duo of Caasi and Torres who scored identical series of 803. Badeo shared 788.
NBA behind the dynamic performance of de Vera outplayed Super Bowl 23-13. De Vera hammered a four game series handicap of 818 on lines of 164, 225,227 and 202. Ryan Iñigo, Joe Garrido and veteran Edwin Atienza posted 812, 809 and 796 in that order while southpaw Ronald Bautista and Mike Ecalnir added separate series of 459 and 380.
Sweet-shooting Noel Morales toppled 784 series to topscore in Super Bowl followed by Resty de Jesus (784), Clem Salazar (779) and Roland Garcia (684).
Magnificent-5 demolished Itqan Tenpin Wizards, 21-18 thanks to Paul Decena (843), Alex Armada (838), Clem Ojeda (814), Jun Daniel (805) and Omar “Pikoy” Valdez (775).
Leading point makers in Itqan Tenpin Wizards was team mentor Ric Singson on 836, Thong Asuncion 822, Doy del Moral 807 ) and Fathi Abdulaziz 807.
Saudi Oger pulverized undermanned ABB JeX 21-10 with Mario Cantina at the helm on 827 points.
