The Deportation Center (known as “Tarheel”) in Jeddah will complete the biometric process for violators who intend to leave the country until Sunday, Nov. 3, said the Consulate General of India (CGI) in Jeddah.
Officials have said that Indians who wish to be repatriated during the grace period should approach Tarheel for fingerprinting and other formalities required for exiting the Kingdom.
They should also bring valid travel documents. These include a passport or emergency certificate and documents, including iqamas, visa details, a border entry number and/or a printout from the Jawazat (Passport Department).
Individuals who are fingerprinted before Nov. 3 and await the final exit stamp will be allowed to leave the Kingdom after Nov. 3 under amnesty.
The consulate will also be deploying its officials at the Tarheel to help people make use of this opportunity. Individuals can contact Indian officials at Tarheel or the consulate for assistance.
