Bahri subsidiary receives new chemical tanker in South Korea

The National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (BAHRI) announces that its 80 percent owned subsidiary company, the National Chemical Carriers Ltd. Co. (NCC), received a new chemical tanker named NCC FAJR in South Korea on Wednesday, according to Tadawul website.
The new vessel, built by Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering Co. Ltd. (DSME), is the first of its kind due to its large size. The 75,000 DWT vessel has specifications that are of high quality standard.
The vessel was contracted with DSME in 2010 valued at SR247 million.
The financial impact of the delivered tanker on the company revenue will appear from the first quarter of 2014.
