JEDDAH: Pakistan International School Jeddah (English Section) outclassed their counterparts from PISJ (Azizia) by 10 wickets to triumph in the Inter-school under-19 cricket tournament, sponsored by Saudi Cricket Center and Organized by the Western Province Cricket Association, here
PISJ from Azizia put into bat by their opponents scored a meager 135 runs. Skipper Mudassir top-scored with 25 runs followed by Saeed Shah (20), Furqan (18) and Mohammed Ali (16). Habeeb bagged 3 for 24 while Khurram got 2.
PISJ ES in reply reached their target after 14 overs without losing a wicket. Furqan (66) and Mohsin (56) led their school to victory.
Majed Ali Aawan was the chief guest. The winners were given a cash prize by Sohail Adam Maimani and Nasir Iqbal of AOT. Others present on the occasion were: Qasim Naqwi, Sadiqul Islam and Hamid Afandi from Saudi Cricket Centre; Ilyas Mustafa, Sohail Shah, Shafeeq and Dr. Sayed Ziauddin (WPCA).
