STC to join global mobile event in Barcelona

The Saudi Telecom Company (STC) Group, will join functions of a conference on mobile communication systems at Mobile World Congress (MWC-2014), which kicks off in Barcelona, Spain, Monday, Saudi Press Agency said.
STC group will be represented by Abdulaziz Al-Sugair, chairman and managing director, and a number of senior executives.
During the four-day event, the STC executives will meet with telecom sector senior decision-makers, vendors and operators. On the sidelines of the meeting, STC group is also expected to sign a number of strategic agreements with regional and world communication and information technology organizations.
The agreements are aimed to enhance and enrich customer experience and provide quality services and new offers that satisfy customer needs as well as improving broadband network infrastructure. The event will be joined by more than 1,500 companies from 59 countries showcasing their most recent products, technologies and applications.
The event is a platform for exchanging expertise, sharing future visions and striking mobile telecom deals.
The congress addresses all aspects related to mobile phones and their impact on the lives of individuals and communities as well as recognizing the significance of mobile phones in a number of important sectors such as economy, health and media.
