Smart ACs: Samsung promotes triangle design

Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., announced the launch of the new Samsung Air Conditioners (ACs) engineered to deliver exceptional cooling, comfort and hygienic benefits with a striking triangular design.
This design allows for a wider inlet, wider outlet and bigger fans while maintaining a compact exterior profile to enhance the overall air conditioning experience.
Jae Cheon Park, GM at Samsung Electronics KSA, said: “R&D and design play a key role in how we develop our products as we’re always focused on improving our customers’ day-to-day experience with technology.”
He added: “We’re especially proud when we are able to create products that address future needs, those that the consumer isn’t even fully aware of, such as what we have been able to achieve with these new air conditioners. The unique design and cooling capabilities bring the ultimate in comfort to our customers, while we’ve embedded smart features to ensure it’s a convenient smart appliance for years to come. That’s the definition of true innovation.”
Adnan Matbouli, CEO of United Matbouli Group, said: “Samsung got us into the habit of expecting always the best from them in terms of innovation in digital appliances. Today’s latest state-of-art technology with smart triangle design of new split ACs has enabled us to proudly announce that all Samsung air conditioners 100 percent comply with latest SASO energy regulations.”
Its triangular design delivers improved performance by circulating cool air faster, farther and wider while Samsung’s digital inverter technology provides significantly greater energy efficiency. In addition, the virus doctor and easy filter eliminate dust, contaminants, allergens, bacteria and viruses.
The new air conditioner features an energy-efficient digital inverter technology with highest 6 star rating. It can maintain the desired temperature without frequently shutting off and on, so it consumes less energy.

Nutanix offers cloud-hosted virtual desktop solution

DUBAI: Cloud-hosted virtual desktop provider Nutanix is offering a 30-day trial of its Xi Frame product that lets employees access company apps on any device and from any location.

“Physical desktops and laptops are becoming a poor fit for today’s dynamic, digital workplace.

A digital workspace provides greater flexibility, so that employees can access the applications and data they need— from any device and any location,” company statement said.

“This is a much better fit for the way many businesses, across many industries, operate today. Instead of running on a local device, the applications and services of the digital workspace run in a data center and output is transmitted quickly and securely to the user across a network.”

Nutanix touts its virtual desk solution as easy to use, has global scalability, elastic by design, secured and developer friendly.

“Users gain easy access to remote virtual desktops or the ability to stream one or multiple applications on any device, with a multi-cloud platform designed for agility, performance, security, and flexibility,” the company said.
