Air Arabia is a strong advocate for the A320 family, with a current fleet of 37 aircraft and a further 21 on order. All of the carrier’s A320 are powered by CFM56 engines.
Consistently expanding since its inception, Air Arabia has currently a global network of 90 destinations covering the MENA, Europe and the Indian subcontinent from three operating hubs in Sharjah, Alexandria, Amman and Casablanca.
In addition, it offers a comprehensive network from and into the EU with a brand new fleet comprising best cabin configurations featuring a 32-inch seat pitch.
Sharklets are newly designed wing-tip devices that cut the aircraft’s fuel burn and emissions by up to four percent on longer sectors. They are made from light-weight composites and are 2.4 meter tall.
With over 10,200 Airbus single aisle aircraft sold and 6,000 delivered today to 400 customers and operators, the A320 Family is claimed to be the world’s best-selling and most modern single aisle aircraft family.
