Samsung Electronics, a global leader in digital media and digital convergence technologies, and Via Arabia have announced the opening of the largest Samsung Experience showroom in Riyadh
Those present included Choongro Lee, president of Samsung MENA and Samsung Saudi, and Tariq Al-Ghunaim chairman of Via Arabia along with executives and members of the press.
Located on Tahlia Street, this smart showroom is centered on retail innovation for customers to explore, purchase, activate and service the broadest portfolio of Samsung’s ground-breaking technology devices and accessories. Visitors can wander through the showroom and experience the smart life Samsung offers and how it can be life changing, especially in an age where technology defines how people plan and run their day-to-day lives.
Lee said: “We proudly announce the pre booking, for the first time in the Kingdom, the remarkable GALAXY S5 announced last month — with the fresh modern design, advanced camera, fastest network connectivity, dedicated fitness tools and enhanced protection features, audiences are invited to get a hands on experience of the product to truly experience what it has to offer.”
Lee said: “Consumers can experience Samsung’s full range of products, including smartphones, tablets, laptops, connected cameras and accessories, all in one store. It enables consumers to interact with the latest devices and experience how they connect together to enrich lives.” The GALAXY Note PRO 12.2 was also unveiled to the Saudi market. Having the option of working it with the included S Pen, the Galaxy Note PRO owns one of the largest displays found on a pure tablet design, marking one of the greatest milestones in recent tablet history.
Al-Ghunaim stated that that with the opening of this showroom Via Arabia is reaping the outcome of a strategic partnership with the leading technology providers, especially Samsung Electronics.
“Samsung has been constantly delivering the latest technology innovations in Saudi Arabia and with the Samsung mobile experience zone, consumers get the most of this novelty by learning how to leverage their mobile devices across the ecosystem of consumer electronics," he added.
Samsung also showed off the two new companion devices — Gear 2 Neo and Gear Fit. Both devices have a heart rate sensor, a pedometer and various tools.
