1st SBG-O&M Inter-Color Basketball Tournament opens

The 1st SBG-O&M Inter-Color Basketball Tournament successfully opened last Friday.
Sanctioned by Saudi Binladin Group Operations & Maintenance, the tournament was organized in coordination with Administration Manager Ali Kadasah, Administration Consultant Ghassan Hussami, Sports Coordinator Sajid Bandri, Commissioner Ismael “Mike” Aliudin, Technical Coordinator Nicasio Razalan, Team Coordinator Lemuel Dizon and Committee members Jifford Alolor, Johniel Capoy and Julius De Jesus. Games will be played Thursdays and Fridays at SBG-O&M basketball court.
In the first game on opening day, White Team brought down Black Team. Artemio Malingin, Jason Lomugdang and Ranz Betarmos scored 23, 21 and 17 points respectively to lead White. Theodoro Abao shot a game-high 33 points and Lemuel Dizon added 22 in a losing cause for Black.
In the second game, highly-touted Blue Team escaped with a come-from-behind win against a stubborn Yellow Team. Jomari Batangas with 25 points, Edgar Dawe 14 and Jorge Balmadrid 13 led the winners. Ricthel Malunes 34 points and Julius Oculam 22 including 6 three-point shots led the Yellow Team.

Yellow Team: Paulo Oculam, Julius Oculam, Harry Gentiles, Renante Jao, Elimar Villalon, Gerome Asumbrado, Glen Tolones , Jordan Capagcuan, Abdul Rahman Mascara, Genesis Vergara, Ricthel Malunes and Kenneth Calimpong

White Team: Gary Timajo, Ranz Betarmos Jr., Jeffrey Lara, Garriross Dancel, Marty Amper, Paul Razalan, Sherwin Saldariega, Jason Lomugdang, Artemio Malingin and Michael Mendoza

Blue Team: Rey Apal, Mario Trocio, Arnold Mamaradlo, Robert Cuilao, Jorge Balmadrid, Edgar Dawe, Reynand Gomez, Omar Abdurajik, Jun Ybanez, Jomari Batangas and Jose Jonnie Banga
