It seems that Iran and the GCC countries are ready to break the ice. It is a positive development. A thaw in the ties between GCC countries and Iran would help the region progress by leaps and bounds. Both sides should think about the future of the millions of people of the region. Continuous confrontation will not help anyone. Iran should shun its expansionist approach. Iranian leadership should realize that their country couldn’t progress in isolation.
