The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) has bolstered its financial services, public sector and energy practices with the appointment of new partners and managing directors — Peter Vayanos, Leila Hoteit and Cristiano Rizzi. Peter Jenkins joins as executive director
The global management consulting firm, claimed to be the world’s leading adviser on business strategy, is set to further expand and cement its market position in the Middle East with the key appointments in priority areas.
Effective immediately, Vayanos, Hoteit and Rizzi will each take on the role of partner and MD for the financial services, public sector and energy practices, respectively.
In parallel, Jenkins will serve as executive director of financial services. The new appointments come as the firm enters its next phase of development in the Middle East — one that places renewed and increased emphasis on high-demand, fast-growing industries.
The hires will further boost BCG's leadership prowess across priority practice areas in the region — finance, public sector and energy.
“We are delighted to welcome such an accomplished and talented set of industry leaders to our team,” said Rich Lesser, president and CEO of BCG. “The Middle East is a complex market full of challenges and opportunity. Their vast experience and industry acumen will greatly benefit our clients in this part of the world.”
Joerg Hildebrandt, senior partner and MD of BCG Middle East, echoed that statement, adding: "Broadening and strengthening our leadership team is essential when tapping into strategic growth areas in the Middle East's ever-evolving consulting sector. As the region's emerging economies mature, so too does BCG with industry analysis that is based upon years of experience, which Vayanos, Hoteit and Rizzi all bring to our senior team. It is testament to the strength and commitment that BCG has for the Middle East."
