Al Tayyar Travel Group has launched a new electronic service for students granted scholarships by the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE). The initiative is one of a number of e-services launched recently by the group to provide clients with cutting-edge customer care.
Nasser bin Aqeel Al-Tayyar, vice chairman and MD of Al Tayyar Travel Group Holding, said: “This new service, targeting scholarship students, is an additional step in our strategy to providing our global clients with exemplary facilities that follow the best international standards.”
Al Tayyar added that the new e-service helps with reservation procedures, shipment of luggage from scholarship countries, and the safe and timely arrival of students to their homeland. This will save the students time and effort otherwise spent contacting travel agencies and shipping companies themselves.
The vice chairman explained that the service, which was launched this week, has gained popularity among scholarships students and their families. For those with queries about the registration process and how to get the maximum benefit out of it, Al Tayyar Travel has published a users’ guide on the website's main page to clarify registration steps, flight dates and how to book tickets — all in a simple and detailed way.
The electronic service consists of three steps. Firstly, scholarship students must set up a personal account so that they can utilize all website services during their period abroad. Then, students choose the date of their flights and confirm the booking. At this point, Al Tayyar Travel Group will revise the booking and email the necessary tickets to the registered student. These tickets can then be printed through their personal profile on the website.
Al Tayyar Travel Group, a publicly traded company, received an international accreditation from the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and ranked as one of the best 25 companies in MENA.
