The Royal Commission of Jubail has issued housing certificates for more than 4,000 housing units in Jalmoudah neighborhood in Jubail Industrial City, belonging to private sector projects.
The certificates were issued upon the inspection of the housing units to ensure they have adhered to housing safety guidelines.
The accommodation projects include 110 villas for Saudi Basic Industries Cooperation (SABIC), 43 villas for Saudi Aramco Refinery Company (Shell SASREF), eight residential buildings for the Saudi Arabian Mining Company (MAADEN) and 106 villas for the Saudi Company for Petrochemical industries (KAYAN).
Some of the housing units were handed over to employees, while the remaining units will be submitted upon the final completion of the projects.
Jubail Industrial City has witnessed an unprecedented urban expansion in a number of neighborhoods to accommodate the growing number of workers, specialists and experts working in the city.
A number of real estate contractors confirmed that the new housing projects would contribute toward lowering the soaring annual rent prices for houses, which in some instances have reached SR95,000 per villa and SR45,000 for a moderate sized apartment in Jubail city.
