Mobily launches cloud computing offer for SMEs

Mobily launched a new cloud computing offer for small- and medium-sized business sector in accordance with the distinctive bundles and prices that meet the growing demand for this service and target all business customers in the Kingdom.
Mobily launches this offer as part of its alliance with Virtustream to give businesses and organizations the ability to deal with all kinds of applications.
This service is divided into three categories: Silver category includes 8 GB of RAM, 2.2 GHz with a storage capacity of 200 GB and costs SR2,699 per month; the gold category, which includes 16 GB of RAM, 4.1 GHz with a storage capacity of 500 GB and costs SR5,149 per month while the platinum category includes 32 GB of RAM, 8.2 GHz with a storage capacity of 1,000 GB and costs SR9,999 per month.
Mobily offers this service to its current customers via secure, reliable, and high-speed network connections to its Tier III and IV data-centers.
A recent research in the Kingdom has shown that information security and loss of control over critical IT infrastructure assets are viewed as significant barriers to cloud adoption.
Mobily business cloud services have been designed with security, control and performance at their core and will provide significant advantages in these areas over and above a traditional infrastructure deployment. All data are stored within Saudi Arabia and managed under the Kingdom’s data sovereignty laws.
