The Commission for Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice (Haia) has detained a sorceress for cheating a Saudi woman of SR250,000 in return for black magic.
The Haia team caught the woman taking SR50,000 from the Saudi client. In another development, the police patrol in Umlaj, Tabuk Province, arrested a house burglar for breaking into roadside rest house. Lt. Col. Khaled Al-Ghiban, Tabuk police spokesman, said the patrol caught the thief, a 31-year-old Saudi, while he was fleeing the rest house after committing the crimes.
The police also recovered several mobile phones and a television sets from his car. The suspect confessed his crime. The police said he had pillaged two other rest houses the same night.
