MADINAH: Sudanese pilgrim Al-Mutawakel Naser praised the services offered by the Kingdom to the guests of God.
“The Kingdom has put all effort possible in order to serve the guests of God and the whole world sees that,” he added. He referred to the major projects the Kingdom is implementing at the Haramain in Makkah and other projects in Madinah and Mashaer, in addition to the major projects to ensure the comfort and ease of the pilgrims.
The pilgrim expressed his deep happiness to be in Madinah. “I thank God for allowing me to perform my Haj duty,” he said adding that this is his first time performing Haj.
“I was amazed by the scene of the Kaaba,” he said, “I have never felt this level of tranquility, respect and spirituality such as the feeling I had standing by the Grand Mosque,” he told Arab News.
“I watched people performing Tawaf, or bowing and worshipping God,” Nasser said that after the completing Haj, he traveled to Madinah to visit the mosque and offer salutations to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
He said that he visited the Islamic sites and ancient mosques in Madinah, and visited the commercial malls to buy gifts for friends and family, especially dates, rugs and Qur’ans and various perfumes and some light gifts.
The Sudanese pilgrim explained that the trip cost SR3,500.
