JEDDAH: Sunbullah Meat of Raed Naji and Abdalkhalek Attia beat KGT 91-71 in the Titan Watch-JBL Invitational Basketball Tournament at the Nazeeh and Wartah Park court in Khalidia district here.
Sunbullah needs another win to qualify for the semifinals. KGT tried hard to no avail as it lost steam in the final quarter. Tablatin top-scored with 33 points for Sunbullah and was adjudged as the Titan Watch best player of the game while Jay Liam scored 20 points for KGT.

Jeddah Warriors defeated Robert and Friends 83-78. Jeddah Warriors’ outside shooting was unstoppable in final quarter. Solar chipped in 26 points for Jeddah Warriors and was adjudged as the Giordano best player of the game while Joleen collected 14 points for Robert and Friends.
Mosquito Black of Coach Adel Dela Cruz beat Mosquito Red 35-30. Red lost after it committed lapses on defense in the crucial two minutes of the game. Divinagracia scored 20 points for Black and was adjudged as JBL best player of the game while Hamza Suyat chipped in 11 points for Mosquito Red.
Meanwhile, JBL Teens headed by coaches Rey Maddatu and Donald Dolloso will participate in the DBL Regional Basketball Tournament this weekend to be held at Al-Gosaibi Sports Complex in Dammam. They are entered in four categories namely 17-under, 14-under and 12-under along with three other teams namely NGB Dammam, NGB Al Khobar of Coach Allan De Castro and Riyadh White Camel Youth Basketball Club of Coach Roel Asay.
